Seam welding is a method of forming permanent metal connections.
During welding, the weldment heats up locally through an electric
current and applies pressure at the contact point of the weldment
to form a solder joint. Seam welding is widely used in industries
such as automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, jet engines, food
canning, bicycles, etc.
